Report abuse
Found stolen work, harmful content, fraud or an attack on Eboore or Oria? Tell us, with enough detail for us to find it. Every report is reviewed.
1. What you can report
- Copyright infringement or stolen work, including your own book sold without permission
- Sexual content involving minors
- Hateful, harmful or offensive content
- Credit card fraud, money laundering or other payment abuse
- Attempts to break into the service, phishing, or other attacks on our users
- Anything else that breaks our acceptable use policy
2. How to report
Email care@eboore.comwith the subject “Abuse report”, and include:
- your name and email address;
- what the problem is (use one of the kinds above);
- where it is: the link to the book, review or profile, or the IP address involved;
- when it happened, if it was an event rather than content;
- how serious you think it is, and a description of what you saw.
If a child may be in danger, contact your local police as well. In the United States you can also report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at report.cybertip.org.
3. Copyright complaints
If you own the rights to a work sold on Eboore without permission, your report needs:
- the work you own the rights to;
- the link to each listing you believe infringes it;
- your contact details;
- a statement that you believe, in good faith, that the use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your report is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorised to act for them;
- your full name, as your signature.
We may share your report with the seller so they can respond. If your work was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply to us with your explanation, and we will review it.
4. What happens next
We review every report. Reports of sexual content involving minors are handled first, before anything else. We act under our acceptable use policy, which can mean removing content, stopping sales, or closing accounts. We tell you when we have acted on your report. We may not be able to share the details of what we did about someone else’s account.
