Introduction

Battles are meant to be fought and won and life challenges must be overcome not to reduce you or make you hopeless and helpless in life. That's exactly God's intent for His children.

Unfortunately, the opposite is what we see among believers who have practically lost the battles of life and destiny to their enemies. Many have been victimized and rendered futile because men and women lost sight of the gravity of battles they are in and how to fight and prevail over the challenges surrounding them.

Our ignorance about how to fight and win the battles of life has given the enemy the privilege to have his way in our lives. It's not God's intention for you to fight and lose that's why you must arise and fight rightly. You are a winner and nothing should be allowed to make you lose in life and destiny.

The reality of battles

Life is not only full of battles but has been proven to be a battle ground for the living. It has never been fair to anyone at all no matter the position you hold in the society. Whether you are rich or poor, whether you are white or black, no one is exempted from battles.

Those who are found beautiful and ugly; the learned and the unlearned are experiencing daily the battles of life. Your level of education or the fluent English you speak does not guarantee you a battle free life. We are all facing untold battles on daily basis in every aspect of life. Your ignorance over life battles does not mean they do not exist. It only means that you are already in a serious battle without knowing.

The spiritual influences the natural

Life is more spiritual than canal and as a result of that; it’s not advisable to take things lightly as if we do not care especially when it has to do with the issues of life.

Life issues must be taken seriously because they can either kill you or give you life. Because of the spiritual nature of life and because it is governed in the spiritual, fighting the battles of life in the physical and with the carnal mindset is vain and futile.

Paul the apostle in his letter to the saints at Ephesus says;

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”. - Ephesians 6:12

This kind of battle does not call for fire arms, machine guns, knives or cutlass. No, it’s not about physical arrows or fighting with your neighbor, family or friends. This battle is just spiritual in every angle. It’s not regulated by any law or ordinances. This kind of battle is not governed by principles and no one determines how and where they come from; that’s exactly why the devil can use anyone to fight you at any time.
