FOREWORD

Once heard an African America preacher on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) say “When you see it and cannot turn your back at it, it means you are called”.

Ever since the issue of the misconception of Sex and True love among the younger generation-which of course is prevalent in my generation too but at a lesser scale-caught my attention, I realize I have never been able to successfully push it aside. I have attempted discarding and forgetting about it by offering quick one on one advice, airing my view via social network such as facebook, twitter, linkedIn, blogging and the lot. But none has been quite satisfactory as I know I gave my views and opinions in tit bits and not to the full capacity I am capable of.

I have always been chasing one thing or the other and promising myself to find the time someday in the nearby and by to sit down, write and put into book a large account of what I am capable of adding to this daunting issue of sex and its abuse, and in turn helping as many as shall come across my book live a truly loving life and develop true love in their relationship. But the Almighty God in his all knowing nature brought the opportunity, the time and the day through unforeseen circumstances closer than I have ever imagined. Praise be to God!

Well, this is the first of my many efforts in book print and I have chosen to satisfy the dissatisfaction that has sought satisfaction over and over and over again. I have chosen to commence this glorious journey-for so has God promised-with you kicking off with True love, Sex and Lies.

No genuine message is a work of the flesh but of the spirit and so therefore I am confident that has this message is sent forth in prints, it will not fail in reaching the hands and hearts it is meant for.

INTRODUCTION

Recent statistic shows that half of the World’s total population is made up of people below the age 25. The total world’s population is given to be 7billion1.

Going by this, it implies 3.5billion plus of this figure are below 25years of age.

And this class makes up mostly the youth.

I have a lot of youths under 25years old has friends and I have been blessed to have a very cordial and open relationship with them. They feel very free to tell me of their concerns, confusions, problems, fears, and uncertainties etc and I found most of them usually find the topic of the opposite sex fascinating, yet it is the one aspect of their lives that hurts them-at the long run-most. Going by my own experiences, those that the elderly people around me then, where kind enough to share with me, and of course information gotten from extensive study, seminars, and observations; I discovered, it has always been like that in all generation-the youths are just naturally fascinated about the opposite sex, therefore becoming curious to know a lot about them. And like the saying goes “it is curiosity that kills the cat”. Through my researches, I have also come to discover that this issue is not peculiar to the youths in my country alone, but to the whole African continent and the whole continents of the world. The youths are asking questions.

Now, there is something alarming happening about this present generation that is causing societal instability, individual pains and regrets, depression, sadness, lost of dreams and all sort of negative vibes. And that thing is sexual indiscipline on the rise among the new generation teens and youths. The rate and scale at which it is spreading and weighing down on families, communities, cities, countries, and continents is quite daunting and depressing if not well understood. Everywhere, there are issues of unwanted pregnancies, regrets and complications due to abortion, lost of trust and difficulty in believing there is such a thing as true love.

All this negative emotions barely before 25years of age.

Then one begins to wonder what kind of adult will this boy/girl grow up to become? As discouraging and depressing as this question is for the older generation to answer, it is far more depressing and discouraging for the youths themselves. You know, we the older generations, usually have this feelings that the Copyright@2015, All rights reserved.

new generation do not think nor ask themselves questions. But that is not true! I am consistently in touch with this folks and it is quite hurtful when you come to know they also ask themselves questions. But because they know not better, they go on with the only information they have to act upon. I say this feelingly. It doesn’t have to be this depressing and hopeless, if only more of the older generation will decide to be more open to these youngsters and provide them with better information to act upon. By honestly sharing with this folks our growing up experiences, mistakes, shames etc we will give them a better platform to base their decisions. Like the saying goes “Our pain is our gain, and our mess is our message”.

Though I grew up in a different generation-not entirely different-but of course with some differences but the basic problems faced while growing up, are the same.

Judging from all I have gathered, concerning the opposite sex, a lot have to do with our psychological and biological make up. This is the main reason why the problem is the same in all generation. And of course the society and environment we grew up in-is the factor responsible for the alarming difference between this generation and the older ones.

I have spent lots of time-approximately 8 years-in researching, asking questions and counseling concerning the issue of True love and Sex and in the process, I stumbled upon the only solution to this problem. Which i can confidently guarantee will work – for it always works for anybody that adheres strictly to it.

The Bible says in Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. The right knowledge-which equals wisdom-is the principal thing. When we have it, and pattern our lives closely by it, we won’t have to experience pains, sorrows, regrets and frustrations.

So journey with me into right knowledge.
